Course Description
In the Aged Care Industry, there is a common saying “If it is not written down, I didn’t happen”. Correct documentation plays an important part in the care industry. For example, the purpose of documentation is to have a legal document as evidence of care and treatment provided to a person, to identify resident’s status in order to document the need for care planning, implement and evaluation of care.
Furthermore, it ensures the consistency of care, to make sure the workplace gets an appropriate level of funding and provides information for doctors and the residents family advocate.
