Course Description
Abuse involving older people is a complex social problem which requires equally careful and considered responses. Australian research estimates that between one and five per cent of older people may experience some form of elder abuse. While this is small in percentage terms, it equates to an unacceptable number of older people suffering abuse and exploitation.
This course includes the following topics:
