Course Description
This qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of personcentered services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.
At this level, work takes place under the direction of others and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take place in a range of community services organisations.
RPL & Credit Transfer:
You may already have a high level of skills, knowledge, or expertise in this industry this is identified as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Do you hold any other Certificates in the same industry? You can apply for Credit Transfer. Seeking either RPL or credit transfer apply on your enrollment form.
Work Placement Requirement:
To gain this qualification successful, part of the assessment methods, you will need to complete at least 120 hours in an aged care facility. You will be required to identify employers in your local area and complete a work placement referral form, then the RTO will assist you with placement.
